BIRTHDAY SKETCH PRINT

This drawing was done from imagination. David Colman (davidsdoodles.com) inspired me to draw again. After being hired by Major League Soccer, it's been hard to design all day and then go home and draw. After this piece comes back from the framer, I will bestow it to my dear grandmother for her birthday. Mama bear and papa bear sitting together and watching the moon seemed like the perfect gift for her.

CHARACTER DESIGNS DONE AT SUPERFAD

3 different looks for an elephant character designed at Superfad a few months back. The client was the American Chemical Society and their concept was to create the 'Periodical table of Elephants' to make learning chemistry a more fun and enjoyable experience for grade - schoolers. The elephant spokesperson interacts with each element to engage children in the learning process. The project was pretty fun.

HARD AT WORK...

An old photo taken during senior year at Pratt. Many late night hours were spent at this desk while completing the Witness series. In fact, I'm almost positive that's what I am drawing in this picture.

STARDUST SONY WALKMAN PITCH

4 wideframe boards advertising the SONY walkman cellphone that is also an mp3 player. The character and the environment adapt depending on the genre of music playing. A custom track was composed by The Vines that seamlessly transitions between pop, rock, electronica, and hip hop tunes.

PROMISED PORTRAIT OF MY AUNT'S DOG MERLIN

Here is a portrait of my cousin's dog Merlin. He is a basset hound mix and he has had several eye operations, now both eyes have been removed and he his completely sufficient with his sense of smell. A truly remarkable and adorable creature. I have been promising to deliver a portrait of him to the family, and finally found the time to do it.

Worked on a pitch with Stardust for BBDO NY on a new Sony Walkman cellphone caimpaign. Quick project, but I got some frames in there! They will be up shortly....

MTV G's to Gents for SUPERFAD

Turning gangsta's into gentlemen under the guidance of hip hop fashion icon Farnsworth Bentley is the theme of MTV's new reality TV show. The winner walks away with $100,000, but the losers, well they all have to go back to the hood. The stakes seem pretty high, and the drama looks pretty ridiculous. Sounds like a recipe for success.

Been working at Superfad (superfad.com) for the past 2 weeks on a promo spot for MTV. New work will be posted as soon as it broadcasts live on the network next month. My drawings will be animated with live action footage, but that's all I'm allowed to say for now. Stay tuned....it will be awesome!

BEST IN SHOW CREATIVE QUARTERLY JOURNAL

I was fortunate enough to be recognized in Creative Quarterly's March 2008 publication. The judges awarded my illustrations "Best in Show" and Silver Medal Honors. CQ Journal is a sub-division of 3x3 Magazine, an annually published illustration magazine.
